Transition to Foundation
The new Foundation students have had a wonderful transition to school!
During the first week, the students were taken around various parts of the College and are continuing to learn routines and about school expectations.
This week, the Foundation students also had the opportunity to visit the library, listen to a story, and borrow their own library book. Our library has wonderful picture books that we use in our classrooms too.
In class the students have been listening to stories read by their teacher, engaging in fine-motor activities, and getting to know their new class friends.
The students have enjoyed playing on the nature playground and have had fun being creative during play-based learning. In our Bible lesson we have been learning about the love of God and how He loves us all in abundance.
On Wednesdays for the first six weeks, the students participate in a rest day, which allows them time to adjust to attending school full-time.
We look forward to a successful year of learning for all our students. May God bless our 2025 Foundation students and their families.
