Learning and events at Trinity this week:

FITCLUB on Thursday

Testing for Year 1/2

Ms Belinda and some 5/6 student on excursion - Bike powered energy

What can we improve

 on this week:

   Class                      Actions

Some people yelling at others on the yard and people putting  tanbark and rubbish in the sandpit

juniorsWe need to show respect to everyone and remind each other to speak nicely and do the right thing

playing/throwing/poking with sticks

Moving safely on the play equipment especially the monkey bars -

NO climbing on top of the bars on the play equipment

juniors

 Safety for everyone

If you see students with sticks remind them to be safe and leave them in the garden

We need everyone to be safe in the playground and we need to look after the plants, trees and vegetable garden!!!

Waiting our turn on the monkey bars, and going only one way

Proper use of playground equipment For example going down slide one at a time.

Behaviour in the quiet area - especially outside 3/4 classrooms

SRC will make posters for the quiet area

Class Leaders will remind ALL classes about the expectations

Tables are for drawing/ playing games and chatting

Bringing toys to school and getting upset if they get lost

Keep toys in our bag

Don’t take something that is not yours and trade- and then want it back.

Suggestions from the SRC

Can we have board games in the quiet area

Safety issues from the SRC

Some students are playing in the toilets- toilets are private and no one should be playing or being silly - tell your class teacher or the teachers on yard duty

''Caught being Good! '' certificates

Students from Prep to Year 6 are nominated each week by members of the SRC, student leaders for demonstrating positive behaviours and actions that demonstrate our school values.

Examples from our Positive Behaviours for Learning Matrix include: being welcoming, being safe and playing safely, being resilient, kind, responsible and respectful to others and also demonstrating that they are “ready to learn” and by setting a positive example for other students to follow.

We encourage the students to look for students that are not in their class and across all levels. Everyone can nominate someone.

Positve Behaviours for Learning Matrix

Nomination slips can be found next to the “caught being good” box outside the school office or given to Mrs Antonella by Thursday lunchtime.

Certificates will be presented to students at assembly on Friday.

Congratulations to all the students who will be “Caught Being Good!” this term!
