Youth 4 Youth Workshops

Youth 4 Youth Inc., a non-profit based in Melbourne’s west. Youth 4 Youth is designed to empower and inspire students through interactive workshops, mentorship, and guidance. They run completely free, online, and accessible workshops every Wednesday evening.

What We Offer:

  •

Workshops: These engaging, hands-on sessions are tailored for students in years 9-12 and focus on practical skills and real-world applications. Plus, they are run by young people who have navigated these unique pathways themselves!

  •

Peer Mentorship: Students learn from relatable young leaders and role models through shared stories, not just advice. Our goal is to empower students by offering guidance and a supportive space where they can ask questions they may not feel comfortable asking elsewhere.

  •

Opportunities: We connect students with volunteer, internship, and job opportunities to help them take their next steps.

 The Term 1 workshop timetable:

In Term 2, we will be running our 'Career Season,' during which students will have the opportunity to hear from young professionals in a variety of fields, from entering the workforce to pursuing university degrees. They will cover a broad range of university programs, from engineering to the arts, providing valuable insights into different career pathways.

At Youth 4 Youth Inc., safety and privacy are fundamental to everything we do. We ensure that all volunteers undergo background checks and hold a valid Working with Children Check (WWCC). During each workshop, we review our privacy statement and group agreement to reinforce our commitment to a safe and respectful environment. Additionally, each workshop is led by facilitators with a current WWCC, and multiple facilitators are present to offer extra support as needed.
