District and Western Sport Trials 

In 2025, Mrs Francis will coordinate all district and western trial information for PSSA Sporting teams.

Some trials at a school level will be held prior to the district trials. This depends on the sport and popularity of trials at the district level. 

When trialling for district and western teams, notes will go home with students from school and will need to be returned to school to Mrs Francis before the due date. 

Students cannot attend trials without this note being approved by the school and students names entered into trials by the school. 

Students can find out about upcoming school, district and western trials by listening to Sentral announcements in class, and parents can find out about trials by keeping up to date through the School Newsletter. 

Upcoming school and district trial information

District Swimming Carnival - Students who have qualified for the District Swimming Carnival will be notified this week. Notes will go home with selected students. The District Carnival is to be held at Manning Aquatic Centre, Bathurst on Friday 28th of February. Don't forget to return to the office by the due date.

Netball Trials - Netball trials for the Year 5 and 6 children who have nominated to be part of the school team will be held next Tuesday 25th February during Break 2 with Miss Reedy. 

Girls Touch Football Team

Thank you to all of the girls that nominated and attended the Touch Football trials. 

Congratulations to the following girls on their selection;

Our first training session will be held on Tuesday 25th February during Break 1.

Cricket Team

Congratulations to the children selected in the school cricket team;

Our first game will be against Bathurst West PS on Wednesday 5th March, 2025. More details will be sent home in the coming days.

AFL Trials: Boys - District trials for AFL will be in Orange on Friday 28th February. Notes will be handed out this week to interested students. Don't forget to return to Mrs Francis by the due date.

AFL Trials: Girls- Selection trials for girls for the State Carnival will occur at different venues across the state between 26th February and 10th March. Notes will be handed out this week to interested girls. Registration is completed by parents.
