International Students

Welcome Back! 

We hope all our international students had a wonderful holiday break and enjoyed reuniting with their families. It’s great to see everyone back, and we hope that the Lunar New Year celebrations were filled with joy for the students and their families. 

Term 1 Orientation  

Our school term kicked off with a successful orientation. This term, we are excited to welcome 25 new students to our international program. We had a total of 50 attendees. Thank you to all the families and host families who joined us—it was a pleasure meeting you all.   

During the orientation, we had our Principal, Mr. Jones; Ms. Harrison from Wellbeing; Ms. Dridan from the Sport team; Ms. Brogan from Music Production and Mr. Hoo from the Middle Sub School. They each introduced their roles and the co-curricular activities available at NHS. We encourage all students to get involved in these activities—it’s a great way to connect with local students across the school. 

ISP Leadership 2025 

We would like to introduce the 2025 ISP Leadership team! This year, we have 6 student leaders, including 2 Captains and 4 Vice Captains. Their roles are outlined below. Stay tuned for updates on their upcoming activities. 

Homestay Fee Update   

Please note that the homestay fee has changed to $380 per week, effective from January 1, 2025. The keeping fee of $15 per day remains unchanged. We recommend that students make payments every two weeks, and all payments must be made via internet banking. 

Upcoming Lunar New Year Celebration  

As part of our tradition, we will be celebrating the Lunar New Year with the ISP community this Wednesday. It’s going to be a wonderful opportunity to come together and connect with teachers.
