New Xuno feature - ability to choose your preferred language!

Xuno has introduced the ability to see all communications in the language of your choice, using their new multi-language option.

Messages in the Xuno app and Xuno news items are translated in real time into the parent's language of choice, making it easier for parents to stay informed.

Please contact the school office if you would like assistance turning this feature on in your Xuno account.

Reminder to return ASPS Photographing, Filming & Recording Students Consent form by end of February 2025

Thank you to the families that have already returned this form - you don't have to do anything further.

There are many occasions during the school year when staff photograph, film or record students participating in school activities or events. We do this for many reasons including, but not limited to, celebrating student participation and achievement, showcasing learning programs, documenting a student’s learning journey, participation in camps, excursions, sports events etc, to communicate with our parents and school community in newsletters and on classroom blogs or apps, showcase our Stephanie Alexander Kitchen Garden program, etc.

Our Photographing, Filming and Recording Students Policy describes how we will collect and use photographs, video and recordings (images) of students. The policy also explains when parent/carer consent is required and how it can be provided and withdrawn.

If you do not understand any aspect of this consent form, or you would like to talk about any concerns you have, please contact our school on auburn.south.ps@education.vic.gov.au or 9882 2140.

**PLEASE NOTE: If you do not return this form to the school, we will assume that you do not consent to the optional uses as described in the form.

Volunteering at ASPS

After reviewing our current processes, we have developed a Parent/Volunteer Helper Handbook.

Going forward, all volunteers at ASPS (sporting events, classroom reading, excursions, SAKG, canteen etc.) will be required to read this handbook and return the two signed forms, along with their WWC, to the office.

Once this has occurred, then you can volunteer at ASPS.

Please find the Parent/Volunteer Helper Handbook below:

Volunteering at canteen (see canteen newsletter page for details)
