Do you feel that someone you know or care about isn’t behaving as they usually would? Perhaps they seem out of sorts? More agitated or withdrawn? Or they are just not themselves.
Trust your gut instinct and act on it. The RU OKAY website below has more about the signs and what to say.
By starting a conversation and commenting on the changes you have noticed, you could help that family member, friend, or workmate open up. If they say they are OK, you can follow the conversation starters on the website. The conversation helps them feel like they are supported and helps them find better strategies to manage the load. If they are OK, that person will know you’re someone who cares enough to ask.
