Principal's Message

Good Afternoon Parents/Carers,

We have reached the final week of a very busy Term 3.  I would like to take this opportunity to congratulate our students on their efforts this term and to also wish everyone a safe and enjoyable holiday break.  We look forward to seeing all of our students back for a busy Term 4 which will commence on Monday, 14th October. 

Behaviour Focus

Our behaviour focus for Week 10 is a term reminder-Summing it up:

• Focus on your learning and behaviour.
• Be safe, kind and respectful.
• Own your behaviour. Take responsibility.
• Once the words are out, you can’t take them back. Think before doing.

Yr 5/6 Excursion to Hill End

Our Yr 5/6 students had a fabulous time at Hill End last week.  Congratulations to all students on your outstanding behaviour and cooperation.  

NRL Gala Day

Students from Yr 5/6 participated in the NRL Gala Day in Tamworth yesterday.  Our team won an impressive 3 out of 4 games that they played.  Congratulations to Alex, Ashton, Dominic D, James, Kaeden, Kobi, Lebron & Tahlia. 

Yr 6 Fundraiser Footy Friday

Yr 6 will be holding a fundraiser this Friday with all students to wear their footy colours to school.  We ask that all students bring in a gold coin donation for this fundraiser.

Tell Them from Me Survey

The annual Tell Them from Me Survey is open, and I ask that all parents take the time to log on to: http://nsw.tellthemfromme.com/6hxy8 and fill out.  This survey is anonymous and helps shape our school.  The survey closes on 8th November 2024.

2025 Kinder Orientation and Transition

We will be holding our 2025 Kinder Orientation and Transition days in Term 4.  Our new Kinder students first session will be from 10:00am to 11:00am.  Subsequent sessions will be held and all dates can be found in the Important Information & Events page in this newsletter.
