Principal Post
Dear Families,
Well the excitement just continues here at SJV as we launch from our Art Show into our Book Week activities. It is a great time of joy and excitement for all our students. On Monday it was wonderful to see everyone dressed up as favourite characters. The Book Parade was brilliant and helps create a sense of belonging and shared enthusiasm for reading. Yesterday's Incursion with Adam Wallace was another terrific event. He was so entertaining and well received by our students and staff. This positive association with books and storytelling can spark a lasting interest in literature!
Our Lamont Book Fair has once again attracted large interest from our parents and will be open until Friday morning. I would like to thank Georgina Laming for her amazing skill and organisation as our Librarian! Once again she has made Book Week an unforgettable highlight of the school year for many young learners!!
