Brain Olympia final 

This year St Xavier’s hosted the Brain Olympia final for the first time. On the 11th of September, nine teams from around the Diocese traveled to Gunnedah to compete for the 2024 Brain Olympia title. The day consisted of general knowledge questions, problem solving, public speaking and finished with a drama performance. St Philomena’s Moree were the overall winners on the day and St Patrick’s Walcha took home the Small Schools Prize. Our St Xavier’s teams placed third and fourth and should be extremely proud of their efforts. 

Book Fair Term 4

We’re excited to announce the dates for our last Book Fair this year. The Book Fair will be held in Week 2 from Tuesday the 22nd October until Thursday the 24th of October. The theme for the Book Fair is ‘Catch the Reading Wave’ and it will be open in the library between 8:30am and 3:30pm. Students will visit the fair with their class to create a wishlist. This wishlist can be used to purchase books online if you’d prefer!
