3-6 Public Speaking Finals

On Thursday 19 September we held our annual years 3-6 Public Speaking competition finals. 16 entertaining speeches were delivered by talented students on topics from cats to the inspirational olympic gold medalist Saya Sakakibara. Our judges Mrs Karen Jagers and Ms Belinda Bremner had a tough job deciding on one winner per grade. 

Congratulations to our winners Zoe Twartz (Year 3), Lincoln Clarke (Year 4), Digby Adams (Year 5) and Agnes Tighe (Year 6).

Year 1 Science - Life Cycle Research 

In Year 1 Science we have been learning about living things and how they grow and change. Students loved using the iPads to research the fascinating life cycle of frogs on National Geographic Kids. We worked in groups to create posters with fun facts about each stage of the frog’s life.
