Welcome to the 2025 school year at Rochester Secondary College! It was fantastic to see our school community come together again at today’s whole school assembly that was run by our 2025 School Captains. Students have returned ready for another exciting year of learning, growth, and achievement.
A special welcome to our 80 new Year 7 students who are beginning their secondary school journey with us. We also extend a warm welcome to other new students joining different year levels, we hope you settle in quickly and enjoy being part of the Rochy family.
For our Class of 2025, this year marks a significant milestone as you begin your final year of secondary education. Make the most of every opportunity, support one another, and set your sights high, we look forward to celebrating your successes throughout the year.

Congratulations to Oakley Tarrant and Cooper Jenkins on receiving Rochester District Australia Day Awards. This is a fantastic recognition of your contributions to the community, well done!
School Focus for 2025
This year, we are committed to developing teacher practice and strengthening our Teaching and Learning Instructional Model to enhance student learning outcomes. We will also continue implementing School-Wide Positive Behaviour Support (SWPBS) to promote student wellbeing and create a positive school culture where everyone can thrive.
