Sharon McConnon Honored with Outstanding Community Service Award

Sharon McConnon, principal at FN Golden Bay, was celebrated for her incredible dedication to the community. Accompanied by Jana McConnon, Sharon travelled to Richmond to receive the Outstanding Community Service Award, presented by Deputy Mayor Stuart Bryant.

Known for her kindness, generosity, and tireless support of countless community groups, Sharon’s contributions have touched many lives in Golden Bay. Jana shared her pride, saying, 'Sharon wears many hats and goes out of her way to help people. She’s humble, generous, and has the kindest nature—so deserving of this award.'

FN Progressive Supports the Mixx South Island Champs

FN Progressive (Christchurch) had a fantastic Sunday at the Mixx (Korfball) South Island Champs. As a major sponsor, they loved being part of the event and seeing the kids enjoy themselves.

Christmas Food Bank Donation

FN Golden Bay successfully gathered items for their Christmas Food Bank donation. Each week, the team contributed to the collection, which was delivered to Mahua Social Services to bring holiday cheer to the community.

Andrea Fenton Spreads Holiday Cheer with a Special Giveaway

Andrea Fenton, from FN United (Rotorua) teamed up with White Tiger nz to bring joy to someone who had endured a challenging year. Followers were encouraged to nominate deserving individuals or even themselves, by Christmas Eve. Andrea personally delivered the beautiful hamper to the chosen winner, spreading festive cheer.

FN Te Awamutu and Rosetown Lions Club

FN Te Awamutu promoted Santas Grotto which was hosted by the Rosetown Lions Club, creating a festive hub for the community. Families enjoyed the magical atmosphere, complete with holiday decorations and photos with Santa. Even Santa got some downtime between children with a good book.

A Magical Christmas Grotto with Santa

FN Roper & Jones (Maungaturoto) hosted a magical Christmas Grotto, bringing holiday cheer to the community. Children enjoyed face painting, cookie icing, and designing festive decorations, along with sipping delicious hot chocolate. The highlight of the event was, of course, a special visit and photo with Santa himself!
