Our final assembly and Year 6 graduation will be held on Wednesday, December 18th at 9:15am in the Gallery Space.
We welcome you and your family to attend the event to celebrate the achievements of our students and say goodbye to the graduating class of 2024.
To celebrate the end of the year, we will hold a joint class party on Wednesday 18th December. The children from Foundation to Year 6 will get together under our outdoor shade structure from approximately 11.15am until 12pm.
Children will not require lunch on this day either (due to a BBQ at the pool) but we ask all families to contribute something toward the Class Christmas Party. We have shared the type of food around by family group so we should have a good balance for a healthy snack. Children will still require a drinker on the day and lunch if a BBQ isn’t their preference.
A note has been sent home with a family member. Please keep in mind that if everyone contributes there will be enough to go around. We ask food to be dropped off in the morning before final assembly at the primary kitchen. Any questions, please contact your child’s teacher.
A reminder to all parents that Charlton College Awards Ceremony is at 7.00pm on the 16th of December. This will be held at the Rex Theatre and school uniform must be worn by all students.
Our 2-Week Swim Program is officially underway, and we couldn’t be more excited about the progress our students are making. Students are developing an understanding of both water safety and swimming technique, helping build crucial skills for success in and around the water.
As part of the program, a focus for Week 2 is survival skills. To assess these particular skills, items of clothing may be required to be worn in the water to test their competency. Please see below for items students are required to bring in addition to their swimwear/bathers.
Year 3-6 Students
- Trousers (long - minimal pockets)
- Long sleeved shirt or sweater (light material - not woollen)
- Old runners - if requested
- Heavier jumper - if requested
- Plastic bag for wet clothes
Year F-2 Students
Students are NOT required to bring any extra clothing. They will still be undertaking survival tasks, including demonstrating a range of skills such as using a PFD, rope rescues, safe entries and answering questions.
A huge thank you to all the staff, parents, and students who attended and contributed to the success of Carols. It was a truly magical evening filled with festive cheer, beautiful music, and great community spirit. We’d like to express our gratitude to the dedicated staff who worked tirelessly behind the scenes, organising rehearsals and making sure everything ran smoothly. A special thanks also goes to the students for their hard work and enthusiasm during the practices. Your effort and energy truly shone through on the evening.
