Our last newsletter for 2024!
As we close another school year, I want to take a moment to reflect on all we’ve accomplished together. This year has been filled with growth, learning, and unforgettable moments. I am incredibly proud of the resilience, dedication, and hard work demonstrated by our students, staff, and families.
While we celebrate the achievements of this year, we also look forward to the opportunities the future holds. Each day, our school community strives to create an environment where every student feels supported, challenged, and empowered to reach their potential. We look forward to celebrating the achievements of our students at our Annual Awards Ceremony, Monday 16th of December 2024 (starting at 7pm). A reminder that all students are expected to attend and must be wearing full school uniform.
Thank you to our students for your enthusiasm, curiosity, and efforts in the classroom and beyond. A special thank you to our families for your continued support, partnership, and involvement in our school. And to our incredible staff, thank you for your unwavering commitment to the success and well-being of every student.
I would like to take this opportunity to say thank you to our staff that will be leaving at the end of the year. Thank you and congratulations to Stuart Plumridge who will be taking up a new role in Melbourne all the best with this new challenge. We are also saying goodbye to Bernd Seggar who will be retiring at the end of the year, thank you for all the great work and the lifelong connections you have made while at the College.
We will be welcoming three new staff in 2025, Claire Smith and Declan Ryan will be taking up teaching positions and Ebony Start will be starting an education support role. We are all looking forward to work with you in 2025.
I hope everyone has a chance to relax, recharge, and enjoy time with loved ones. I look forward to welcoming you all back for another great year ahead.
Wishing you a restful and enjoyable summer.
