This week amongst the end of Year activities of Presentation Day, Term 4 K-6 AP Assembly, the fun of movies, water play, Inflatables and Christmas craft, we remember Jesus in our preparation for Christmas and today gave thanks during our whole school Thanksgiving Mass. Many families generously gave to our annual Saint Vincent de Paul appeal, with the goods provided being donated following Mass.

Please remember to consent via Compass for the end of year events so that your child is able to participate.

Congratulations to the newly elected 2025 Primary Student Representative Council. Ben De Stefani, Ella McGavin, Fletcher White, Harper Will, Millie Maddigan, Sienna Irwin, Tom Ditchfield and Will Bloch. Captains for 2025 are Fletcher White and Millie Maddigan.

Congratulations to all students who received awards on Presentation Day. It was fantastic to see so many families there to support the students' hard work and commitment to learning.

Reports, 2025 class lists and class requirements lists were distributed yesterday. Please contact Mrs Koch if you wish to discuss your son or daughter's class placement for 2025.

As we wrap up the 2024 school year, we want to thank our students, staff, and families for their hard work, dedication, and support. It’s been a year full of growth, learning, and memorable moments, and we’re proud of our student's achievements.

As we head into the holiday season, we wish you all a joyful and relaxing Christmas break.

We hope everyone stays safe, has a refreshing holiday, and returns in the new year feeling renewed and ready to start a great school year together. Year 1 to Year 10 return to school on Monday 3 February with Kinder Best Start Assessments taking place in that week. Kinder starts on Monday 10 February.

Wishing you a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!

Kind Regards

Mrs Cathy Koch

Year 6 Excursion to Canberra

Students from our school recently enjoyed an educational tour of the national capital. Students were given the opportunity to participate in a variety of educational programs with a focus on Australia’s history, culture, heritage, and democracy. The Australian Government recognises the importance of all young Australians being able to visit the national capital as part of their Civics and Citizenship education. To assist families in meeting the cost of the excursion the Australian Government is contributing funding to our school in the amount of $112.50 per student under the Parliament and Civics Education Rebate program towards those costs. The rebate is paid directly to the school upon completion of the excursion. We are very grateful for their support in helping rural students have this educational and informative experience.
