Swimming Trials Year 3 to Year 6

To select a team to represent Vermont Primary School in this year's Nunawading District Swimming Carnival, we will be holding school swimming trials at the Croydon Memorial Outdoor Swimming Pool on Wednesday 12th February 2025 from 10.30am – 1.30pm.

Please note the swimming trials are not compulsory and that all students wishing to participate must be competent swimmers.

Swimming Trials Information 

1. Selection trials will be held for the following events:

Individual 50m Freestyle, Backstroke, Breaststroke and Butterfly.

2. Students will compete in their designated age group, eg 9yr Boys 50m Freestyle.

Age is calculated to 31/12/2025. eg If a student is turning 10 during the year, he/she will be in the 10 Year age group.

3. There is no restriction on the number of swimming trials a student may enter.

4. Students can select their events on the day of the swimming trials.

5. Relay teams will be selected by Mr Walsh. Results from individual swimming trials will be considered when selecting relay teams.

Please note, further information including registration details will be emailed to all Year 3 to 6 families on Friday 31st January 2025.
