Term 4 Community Day – Ride the Wave of Wellbeing
Thank you to all staff and students who supported this term’s Community Day. There was a sea of colour as our school community got behind the Hawaiian/Tropical dress theme to learn about how our wellbeing and ability to navigate life’s challenges can be compared to the ocean, and in particular, surfing.
The school community raised over $2000 which will be evenly split between Where There’s a Will and Red Door Community Kitchen.
Thank you to everyone who participated.
Preparing for 2025 – Uniform and Grooming Expectations
Please ensure you are familiar with St Joseph’s Uniform and Grooming requirements prior to your child returning next year, in particular the expectations regarding:
Shoes – shoes worn with sport uniform need to be joggers, not Vans, Converse, Nike Air Force, Asic Platforms or similar. Regular school shoes need to be black leather.
Piercings – Girls are permitted to wear two pairs of small studs or sleepers in the lobe only. All facial and excessive ear piercings are not permitted. Please do not have new piercings done over the holidays if there is not enough healing time prior to school returning.
Haircuts – Boys hair should be cut in a neat and tidy style and be no longer than the top of his collar. Mullets, skullets, fades, undercuts, crew cuts, shaved in shapes, and any other haircuts that are ‘on trend’ are not permitted.
