End of Year Prayer

At the end of this school year, we give thanks to God: 

For all the teaching and learning that has taken place in our school,

both in and out of the classroom.

For the talents and gifts that have been shared

and the challenges that have been faced. 

For the burdens that have been lifted

and the hurts that have been healed. 

For the respect and care that has been given. 

We give thanks for the friendships that have just begun

and for those that have grown.

For the faith that has been lived in our daily struggles. 

For the hope that has lifted our hearts on the dark days. 

And for the love that has kept us going. 

We give thanks for the community that we are.

 

Heavenly Father, bless us this Christmas, 

We ask that you bless every home, every family and every meal. 

We thank you for the beautiful memories we will create this Christmas.

Bless our families as we take our holidays,

May our time together leave us with memories to cherish. 

Pour out your love on us so that we may return renewed and refreshed

to continue our journey together. 

We make this prayer through Christ our Lord.

Last Day of School

Today is the last day of school for students for 2024.  School will finish at the normal time of 3.20pm.

St Augustine's Kyabram Christmas Mass Times

• Saturday 21st December – 6.00pm
• Sunday 22nd December – 8.30am
• Tuesday 24th December – Christmas Eve - Carols at 7.30pm, Mass at 8.00pm (Church)
• Wednesday 25th December – Christmas Mass at 8.30am

College Office Closure

Please note the College Office will be closed next Wednesday, 18th December.

The College Office will close for 2024 next Friday, 20th December at 3.00pm and will re-open on Monday 20th January, 2025.

2025 Student Commencement Dates

The 2025 school year will commence for all Years 1-12 students on Thursday 30th January.

Foundation students will commence on Friday 31st January.

Lost Property

A reminder to families to please check the lost property box for any items your child/ren may have misplaced during the term.  

All unclaimed items will be donated to St Vincent de Paul during the school holidays.

SOLE Stars

Congratulations to our final SOLE Stars for 2024.

Parish Christmas Giving Tree

A reminder that donations for the St Augustine's Parish Christmas Tree will be collected by St Vincent de Paul members after Mass this Sunday, 15th December.

Donations of unwrapped toys and toiletries can be left under the Christmas tree in the Church. Envelopes are also available on the Christmas tree for cash donations. There will be a box available to put these in.

St Augustine's College 50 Year Reunion

A group of past students are currently organising a 1965-1975 50 year class reunion for 22-23 March, 2025.
