🗓️Timetables
Timetables are important documents for both accountability and staffing organisation and, as such, no changes are to be made due to an agreed request.
We will print the classroom timetables for our second day together so that you have the opportunity to review your timetable and see if there are any changes that you would see benefiting your classes and the school.
Any requests for changes are to be made at this time and will be approved by the Principal.
Please remember, these are legal documents identifying who is where and when in the school plus are the basis for allocating support staff. Thank you for understanding that they cannot be changed.
2025 Master Timetable
- Platoon has been indicated - Year 5 and Year 6 will do this at the same time and Evan will be available to support your groupings.
- Part Time Staff:
- Please note that Non Contact Time and attendance at PL/meetings for part staff have now been calculated based on the VGSA.
- For Non Contact Time, if you are owed NCT please check who will be replacing you and vise versa.
- For attendance at meetings, if you owe or are owed time, the easiest way to manage is either
- Time in Lieu
Staying at school to acquit the time.
The table on the Master Timetable refers to how this will be managed if you are not accruing Time in Lieu. If you are, it will be deducted from your TiL.
- Please see Janet for any clarification.
Classroom Timetables
- Class timetables will be ready for the start of 2025. If you need to change a session or sessions on your class timetable, please see Janet. Otherwise, they must remain as provided to you for accountability.
- Please note that the replacement roles will be indicated in your timetable and are not able to be changed.
- Library and wellbeing are still timetabled. Please use this time as you see fit for a library session in your class (as the Library is closed all year) or a wellbeing session.
- All Year levels are to use the library resources organised by Michael Barry (located on the Hall stage).
Professional Learning Timetable
- You will find our Term 1 PL here.
- Could all PLC leaders indicate where their PLC session will take place. Please write it down in the PLC table which you will find just under the PL meeting table.
Yard Duty Timetable
Please have a look at the yard duty timetable.
Please note:
- The Library is closed all year.
- We have less bilingual assistants and integration aides who can support yard duty in Le jardin, therefore, you will notice that some days there are more teachers on duty in Le jardin.
- On the JC, the tennis courts will be opened at lunch time and closed at recess, except on Thursdays as we have enough colleagues to cover all play spaces.
- Teachers who are on duty on the tennis courts at recess (2:00-2:30pm) will support their colleagues in Le jardin instead.
- The extreme weather timetable will be developed at the start of next week in collaboration with the JC team and the Specialists team. Nancy will be in touch soon.
- If you find any mistakes or would like to make changes to the timetable, please see Nancy.

Student Attendance and the Start of the Learning Day
This is a DET priority and we will be making appointments with those families who have difficulty getting ready for school on time.
Communications are once again going out to families via Le Journal to ensure that they are aware of our expectations and procedures regarding attendance and on-time arrival at school.
Please reinforce the benefit of arriving on time, coming in to class with classmates and starting learning together. Sub-school leaders will be monitoring attendance and late arrivals and will follow up with teachers and families for support as required.
Parking
Sadly our limited staff parking is no longer available:
- With the closure of Reserve Road
- We will no longer have staff parking in the Junior Campus driveway
- Due to the lack of parking for the Uniting Church community, they have decided not to renew our five spaces in their small car park near the start of Reserve Road.
Free all day parking is available:
- in Alma Road
- north of Inglesby Road on Burke Road
- east of Stanhope Road on Camberwell Road
Reserve Road
Reserve Rd will be closed to traffic as of Friday 24 January.
This will impact families access at school at drop off and pick up times as well as when collecting their children for appointments.
As you can imagine, this will require a change in routine for a number of our families. Information about the new pick up and drop off options has been sent out to the community via Le Journal but it will take some time for everyone to adjust. Below is an overview of the information that has been communicated so far:
Start of the Year - a calm and orderly environment
With more students coming via the Butler Street Car Park and Camberwell Rd, there will be increased traffic at the front of the school. If coming from Camberwell Rd, students and their families will be directed to enter the school via the Sports Shed/ Lower Reserve Park gate rather than the front door (already struggling with high traffic at reception).
Students entering from Reserve Rd will need to be dropped off on Inglesby Rd and walk through the Boroondara library park to cross Reserve Rd at the crossing. As Reserve Rd will be closed to traffic, there will no longer be a crossing supervisor in the mornings or afternoons.
Crossing supervisors will remain on Inglesby Rd, Burke Rd and Camberwell Rd.
All leadership will be on duty each morning to support the new exit and entry points - primarily a quick drop off zone on Camberwell Road. It will be helpful if you remind your students where to enter the school depending on where they are coming from.
Crossing between Le Jardin and the Junior and Senior Campuses
We will still require supervision at all times to ensure student safety as we do not have a 'defined corridor' between our two sites. We cannot risk students wandering and thus must maintain our current procedures.
Capital Works Delay
As mentioned at the end of last year, we were disappointed to learn that our project has been included in a 'bundle' of five projects run by the same builder. We have also learnt that the builders tendering for the project have requested a further extension to have another site visit (Tuesday 21 January). Thus our project will not now go to tender until the 14 February. Works may not start until the end of Term 1.
