Principal's message
On Thursday evening we celebrated our annual Xmas concert, bringing together our entire school community in a dazzling display of talent and holiday cheer.
Our students took to the stage with confidence, sharing their musical and drama talents.
We would like to make a special thanks go to our staff, led by our Performing Arts teacher - Emma Thorley, for guiding our students and helping to bring their creative visions to life. We’re also grateful for the support of our families and friends, whose presence made the evening even more special.
Thank you to everyone who joined us in making this concert a true celebration, it it's such a delight seeing the pure joy in both students and families :)
Tuesday, December 10th:
Tomorrow is an imporant day as part of the Statewide Transition day as all students will move into their classes for 2025. That means 2025 Preps will be attending school and our current Yr6 students will be attending their respective 2025 schools.
Our Yr6 students attending Colac Secondary College will need to be in the Alvie PS uniform and ensure they have snack, lunch and drink bottle.
Our Yr6 students attending Trinity College are to wear casual clothing and bring drink bottle and snacks. Students will need to make their own way to and from the schools.
2025 Prep students will join us until 2pm, followed by a BBQ for our new Prep families.
All other grades (current Prep to Grade 5) will be part of our annual move-up day and will be with their 2025 peers throughout the day.

Our school collects and uses student and parent personal information for standard school functions or where permitted by law, as stated in the Schools’ Privacy Policy and the Schools’ Privacy Collection Notice.
Our policy - Please refer to our Photographing, Filming and Recording Student Policy on our website. It describes how we collect and use photographs, video and recordings of students. The policy also explains when parent consent is required and how it can be provided and withdrawn.
Pick up/ Drop off of Children from School
Can I please request that familes rember to sign your child in/out at the office if leaving throughout the day. It is important that we have an accurate account of all students that are onsite at any moment in time.
