Our recent two‑day Move4Mission - Wheels Days event brought an incredible burst of energy to the ELC. From the moment the children rolled onto the courts with their bikes and scooters, the atmosphere lit up. Laughter, cheering, and pure determination filled the space as our youngest learners completed lap after lap after lap with unwavering enthusiasm.

What stood out most was the confidence and persistence the children showed. Their participation beautifully reflected key elements of the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF), particularly Outcome 3: Children Have a Strong Sense of Wellbeing, which highlights the importance of physical activity, coordination, and active engagement in learning.

The event also provided rich opportunities for developing gross motor skills, such as balance, coordination, spatial awareness, and core strength skills that form the foundation for later physical, cognitive, and social development.

Their efforts will join the Junior School BP funds raised late last term, when the older students completed their own lap‑a‑thon, with all contributions going toward the Ernabella Anangu School lands trip.

A heartfelt thank you goes to our dedicated ELC team. Their preparation, supervision, encouragement, and even traffic control ensured the event ran smoothly and safely. Their support helped create an environment where children could shine while also challenging themselves.

Please take some time to look through the photos that were captured, highlighting the excitement and spirit of the days, moments of pride, movement, and community coming together for a meaningful cause.
