Delahey Campus Term 2, May 2026

A Strong and Purposeful Commencement to Term 2

The commencement of Term 2 has been marked by a strong sense of purpose and engagement across the Delahey Campus. It has been particularly pleasing to observe students embracing the many academic opportunities, co-curricular programs, and excursions offered throughout the College, reflecting the vibrant learning culture that continues to define our community.

Term 2 represents a significant and demanding period within the academic year. Semester 1 and Unit 1 & 3 coursework will conclude in mid-June, followed by the Semester 1 examination period, which provides students with the opportunity to consolidate and demonstrate their learning. Upon the completion of examinations, students will transition into Semester 2 and Unit 2&4 studies commencing from 15 June.

We extend our sincere appreciation to families for their continued support and partnership throughout this important term, and to the campus leaders for conducting information assemblies in preparation for the GAT and exams.

Student Attitudes to School Survey

The Attitudes to School Survey is an annual student survey conducted by the Department of Education. It helps schools better understand students’ perceptions and experiences of school life.

Students from all year levels (Years 7–12) participated in the survey during class time.

Our college will use the results to help plan programs and activities aimed at improving students’ overall schooling experience.

All responses are confidential, and students are not identified in any of the results.

We would like to thank the Student Management Team, classroom teachers, and IT staff for their support in running the survey.

Many competed in themed attire, which greatly enhanced the atmosphere of the event. The Staff vs Student relay was a notable highlight, generating strong interest and concluding with a victory for the senior students.

Through this experience, students developed practical knowledge and skills required for employment in the hospitality industry, including legal responsibilities, hygiene standards, safe alcohol service practices, and customer service.

This certification supported students in gaining part-time or casual work and enhanced their readiness for future workplace pathways. Thank you to our partner Educlick for supporting this program and providing valuable training opportunities for our students.
