Year 12 Science
Year 12 Students in Physics are currently studying DC motors, constructing basic motors and testing them.

Year 10 Science
Year 10 Biology students have been lucky enough this term to have Monash University bring in their zebra fish breeding program. Students were able to collect eggs from the parent fish and then watch them grow over the week from a single cell to a newly hatched zebra fish. The unique structure of the zebra eggs means they are transparent and you can watch them grow inside, the fish themselves are also transparent and students were able to see their hearts beating as they swam around. The Year 10 Biology students were able to study the genetics and inheritance of the fish as well as the developmental stages all within one week. A truly amazing experience for our young biologists.

Students have been studying Electrolysis in this experiment they used the electrochemical series to predict and observe the products with some surprising results, leading to a discussion about the difference between theoretical and real life results.
