Mother's Day

A very Happy Mother’s Day to all the mothers, grandmothers and special people in the lives of our students. Thank you for the care, support and encouragement you provide each and every day, we hope you all enjoyed a wonderful and well-deserved celebration.

Gr3-6 Athletics and Cross Country

Last week, our Grade 3-6 students proudly represented Anglesea Primary School in both the Athletics and Cross Country events. It was fantastic to see students encouraging one another, demonstrating resilience, determination and excellent sportsmanship throughout each event. We are incredibly proud of all students for the way they challenged themselves, supported their peers and represented our school community so positively.

Over the coming weeks, we will provide further information regarding which students have qualified to progress through to the next stage of competition. Congratulations to all students on their wonderful efforts and achievements.

Propagation Day

Next week, Anglesea Primary School will once again be teaming up with ANGAIR but this time for a new project in a Propagation Day. This wonderful partnership provides every student with the opportunity to learn the art of plant propagation through cuttings, while developing an appreciation and understanding of our local environment.

Each student will carefully nurture and care for their propagated plant throughout the year before eventually taking it home to be planted in their own garden.

Students will also be involved in planting around 100 indigenous plants across the school grounds. Experiences such as these continue to strengthen students’ connection to nature, sustainability and the unique local environment we are fortunate to live within.

Prep Enrolment 2027

Enrolments for the 2027 Prep year are now open. Over the past week and continuing into this week, we have welcomed a number of prospective Prep families on school tours, and it has been wonderful to showcase our school community and learning environment.

We encourage our current families to submit applications as early as possible, as this greatly assists us in planning for future enrolments and managing places for additional families wishing to join Anglesea Primary School. Thank you for your support and assistance with our planning processes.
