Greek Cooking Experience

There is something truly special about sharing a meal with friends and last weekend was a beautiful reminder of just that. Voula and I had the pleasure of hosting our fair prize winners for a Greek cooking experience, filled with warmth, laughter and the rich flavours of tradition.

Together, we prepared a delicious spread from scratch. This included spanakopita, traditional Greek salad, tzatziki and a much-loved semolina cake, Ravani. Beyond the food, what made the day so meaningful was the company. This wonderful group of mums has shared a long journey together, dating back to when our now 17-year-olds first met in Prep. From our Playball days as the 'Chatham Thunder,' to the many milestones along the way, we have supported one another through the years.

It was a joy to pause, reflect and reminisce about those early days while celebrating how far our children and our friendships have come. We left with full hearts and a deep appreciation for the strong sense of connection that continues to define our community.

We are sincerely grateful for the generosity shown through the school auction and for the ongoing support of our school. The spirit of Chatham is something truly special and it is moments like these that remind us why.
