Year 3 & 4

This week, our Year 3 and 4 students have been learning how heating and cooling can change the phase of state and how this process is used in the real-world context of recycling. They explored how materials such as glass, plastic, and metal can be melted down and reshaped into new products. To consolidate their understanding, students conducted research into the recycling process and created informative posters to communicate their learning. 

Year 5 & 6

Our Year 5 and 6 students have continued working on their science communication projects. They are developing creative ways to share their knowledge of solids, liquids, and gases with the younger students at Karoo, using formats such as videos, podcasts, and stop-motion animations. We are looking forward to seeing their final presentations!
