Sustainability at King's

Did you know that all our Junior School classrooms and common areas are now equipped with three bins – FOGO (Food Organics & Garden Organics), Recycling, and General Waste – to help us reduce waste and care for our environment.

Our Year 6 students do a fantastic job emptying both the FOGO and Recycling bins each week, transferring the waste into the larger collection bins.

To encourage everyone to get involved, we also have a FOGO Award for the classroom that consistently remembers to put their green waste into the FOGO bin instead of the general waste bin. Congratulations to Year 2, who won the award this week! 

It’s a fun reminder that small actions add up to big changes when it comes to looking after our planet!
