Student Leaders 

Last week, we were lucky enough to perform Matilda Jr. for our Wonga Park community. It was incredible to see the characters come to life as our lead students transformed words on a page into a marvellous production. Students from Prep, and Grades 3 to 6 worked together to create smooth transitions, coordinated scenes and a performance we’ll always remember.

We would like to give a huge thank you to all the parent helpers who worked so hard to create costumes, props and sets for the show. Thank you also to the amazing teams of teachers and parent volunteers who spent time on performance nights creating incredible hairstyles and makeup to help us shine on stage.

We also want to thank our classroom teachers and ES staff for supporting us every step of the way. A very special thank you goes to the Specialist Team for their help, and to Miss Leydin for choreographing such fantastic dances, not only for the Preps and Grade 3–6 Chorus, but also for the lead Specialist Dancers.

Finally, the biggest thank you goes to Tim and Mrs Salisbury for all their time, effort and organisation in coordinating the entire concert. We couldn’t have done it without you and are so grateful to have had your support and the memories you created for us!
