BOOK WEEK COMPETITIONS

During Book Week, students were invited to participate in a range of fun competitions to celebrate reading and creativity! These competitions were designed to give students the opportunity to showcase their favourite books while exploring this year’s theme, ‘Book an Adventure’. 

We are excited to share that the winners were announced on Friday! The prizes for the competitions were highly coveted, with winners being invited to choose a book from the Book Fair. 

Congratulations to all who entered and shared their wonderful ideas! 

LAMONT BOOK FAIR

We are still awaiting the final amount that we received from the Book Fair and will let you  know next week. We are beyond grateful for the support from our school community, which helped make this year’s Book Fair another terrific success! The Book Fair brings so much joy and students love choosing books that inspire, entertain and nurture a lifelong love of reading. It is also a positive way to give back to our school as 30% of all sales is returned to us so we can purchase new books for our Library! 

A huge congratulations also goes to Ava in Year 2 for another very successful charity campaign! Ava sold many of her spectacular bookmarks during the fair. She will donate 100% of the proceeds from her bookmarks to a charity that supports sick children.
