Farewell Class of 2025
A wrap-up of Year 12's last week
This past week marked the end of Year 12’s formal schooling and what a fantastic week of celebrations it was. Congratulations, Year 12! We will be praying for you as you take on the HSC and begin this next chapter of your life. We are excited to see where your journey takes you. God bless you all!
It was my great joy to see Year 12 graduate on Thursday, 25th September. I realise that could be taken two ways—let me assure you, it is not joy at their departure because they have been difficult. Quite the opposite. This cohort has been a blessing, and three qualities in particular stand out.
Firstly, their heart for service. Rather than being self-focused, these students have consistently looked outward. They have shown kindness and care to younger years, served as student ambassadors, spoken at information evenings, and led lunchtime groups for junior students. Their willingness to serve has enriched our entire school community.
Secondly, their harmony as a year group. These students have related well to each other and to their teachers. This has made school a safe, positive place where learning could be enjoyed free from unnecessary conflict or angst.
Thirdly, their maturity and appropriateness. At both the graduation assembly and the dinner, the tone was exemplary. The formality was well-judged, the humour fitting, and above all, the events were marked by a God-honouring spirit. This reflects not only the quality of the Class of 2025, but also the faithful investment of parents and teachers who have guided them.
It is with genuine joy that I reflect on this graduating class. While we are saddened by their absence, the purpose of school is not to hold students here forever, but to prepare them for what lies ahead. With gratitude, we release them to the next stage of their journey, confident that the Class of 2026 will also bring great blessing.
We wish Year 12 every blessing and pray that they will continue to act justly, love mercy, and walk humbly with their God.

Year 12 kicked off their last week of school with the much anticipated Staff vs Students dodgeball match. Staff showed some sharp throws and quick reflexes, but Year 12 held their ground with strong teamwork and some great catches.
After a close finish - ending in Mr Jolliffe vs Ned - the students came away with a 4–3 victory 🏆
Thank you to everyone who cheered from the side-lines, the team who helped at the BBQ, and well done to our Stage 5 PASS students for organising and running the event.
To celebrate the end of Senior Classes, our Years 11 & 12 students spent the day in Huskisson.
Dolphins, sunshine, and a full day of activities - kayaking, SUP, snorkelling, beach volleyball, and tennis - made it the perfect way to close out senior courses before HSC exams next term.
