Avalon Career's Day

On Friday the 28th of May, selected students from Years 7 to 9 had the opportunity to attend Careers Day at the Avalon Airshow. 

This day gives students the opportunity to listen to leaders in the areas of aerospace, aviation and defence, to learn about pathways into future careers. Students spoke directly to members of the Defence Force and listened to their journey from school into the Army, Navy and Air Force. They heard from astronauts who have recently returned from space and experience the world of STEM, and careers pathways this has to offer in the STEM interactive hub. 

To finish off the day, students watched flying demonstrations of multiple aircrafts.
