ANZAC Day Commemorations

On April 25th, Australia commemorated ANZAC Day, honouring the brave citizens who served in our defence forces during the conflicts Australia has faced.
This week at Truganina P-9 College, we acknowledged the men and women of all cultures who were prepared to serve and sacrifice their lives for our country by observing a moment silence and laying a wreath in memorial of those that lost their lives in combat.
Our nation was built on respect, resilience and pride, which are qualities that continue to shape who we are today. We can enact these values through showing respect for what we have and the quality of our lives, recognising that some of this is due to the sacrifices of the past.
Lest we forget.
