Principal's Message

Dear Families,

We want to congratulate the students for the fantastic start to the school year. We have seen hard work and resilience from our students this term, which has opened the door for significant growth in learning. 

We would like to share our 2025 Annual Plan with the community. This has been developed from our 2024-2027 Strategic Plan. This outlines our goals and actions around the key areas of Community, Well-being and Curriculum. 

We thank you for your flexibility over the next few months while the construction of our two new play spaces takes place. We have a new playground being installed in Kinder and another for the P-6 students along the eastern boundary. 

Staffing Update

Megan Hickey will be on leave from Term 3 as she is expecting a baby! The school community extends our best wishes to Megan, James, Evan and Franklin as they prepare for this exciting new chapter. The Grade 1 class teachers for Term 3 and 4 will be Christina Harper (Monday, Tuesday, Thursday) and Cassie Prenter (Wednesday and Friday). Christina is a highly experienced early childhood teacher who has been teaching in the Catholic system for many years. We look forward to welcoming Christina to the John Paul II team!

Christina will also be working on Monday and Tuesday in Kinder for 6 weeks in Term 2 while Emma Williams completes her final university practical experience.

Amanda Belbin has been successful in her application to cover the role of Instructional Teaching and Learning Coach while Megan is on leave. Congratulations Amanda!
