Middle school

Year 8 students recently stepped back in time on their exciting excursion to Kryal Castle!  They explored the medieval fortress, watched thrilling sword fights, and even tried their hand at archery. From learning about knights and castles to immersing themselves in the world of medieval history, it was a day full of adventure and discovery.

The students had a fantastic time experiencing history in a fun and interactive way!

The Year 7 students had Interschool sport round-robin last week where they played against numerous different schools. The students had a fantastic time, embodied the school values and represented the college well. Great work everybody!

NAPLAN was completed by students in Years 7 and 9 in the last couple of weeks. Great work everybody! These testing windows can be exhausting and stressful, so great work for making it through!

As the first term of the year draws to a close, the students in middle years have been reflecting on all the events from the term. The termly assemblies are taking place where we get the chance to celebrate the achievements of the term with Values awards and merit award draws, with one lucky student from each year level will win a trip to the movies!

Looking forward…

The first week of next term is a short one! With the Monday being Easter Monday and the Friday being ANZAC day, students can return to school slowly with a three day week.

We hope that everyone has a fun and safe holiday break and we look forward to seeing everybody next term!
