Singapore Study Tour

This week 25 lucky students and four dedicated staff flew to Singapore for an unforgettable 9-day study tour.

Wishing them all safe travels, enriching cultural experiences and cherished memories on this once in a lifetime opportunity!

We can't wait to hear all about it when they return!

Food Technology

Our Food Technology classes at Kildare Campus have had a very busy Term 1. Students across Year 7-9 have all refined their kitchen hygiene skills and have been busy with both theory and practical classes.

Some of the practical class highlights have included:

Year 7 - fruit kebabs, fried rice, Easter decorated cookies

Year 8 -  beef burgers, apple muffins, sausage rolls

Year 9 -  fresh pasta with napoli sauce, kangaroo & saltbush burgers, apple & berry galette tarts

We look forward to Term 2, to continue developing our kitchen techniques and food knowledge across these year levels and we thank Mrs Sciotto and Mrs Ogden for their incredible support with every practical class.

International Women's Day Exhibition

Congratulations to Sophie Smith-Dyke, who was the winner of our International Women's Day art exhibition.

Sophie skilfully applied her new knowledge of the principles and elements of art in a composition about her mother. She chose a giraffe to symbolise how her mother consistently considers others before herself. The giraffe's head in the clouds describes her mother as ideal as a woman, and as a parent in a Faith-based private (Kildare Ministry Catholic) school.

Sophie is always willing to explore cultural expression in her compositions and her leadership is an inspiration to the whole class.

Term 1 Student Agency Wrap Up

The Student Agency team continues to gather your ideas and share them with the College Leadership Team, focusing on campus improvements, wellbeing initiatives and new opportunities for student involvement.

Student agency empowers you to have a voice in shaping our school community. In recent meetings, we have planned exciting activities for Foundation Day and discussed ways to improve student involvement.

We are also thrilled to announce the reintroduction of the Brekky Bar, ensuring students have access to a healthy start to the day - stay tuned for launch details!

If you have suggestions, we’d love to hear from you! Together, we can make a positive impact.
