A Taste of Mazenod
Last Saturday night, 29th March, we celebrated a fantastic evening! It was a gourmet’s delight: “A Taste of Mazenod”!
It made us think about some of the joys of life: great friends, good company, delicious food and wonderful music!
Mazenod College welcomed back several of its Old Collegians who have achieved remarkable success in the hospitality, café and restaurant industries, and we were delighted to be the beneficiaries of their delightful company and delectable food!
Amongst our guests, many of our former students came along for the evening, as well as our current families, and members of our wider College Community.
Our chief guest for the evening was our Old Collegian, renowned Chef and Restaurateur, George Calombaris, (MOC 1996) who launched our fundraising campaign to redevelop our Food Technology Centre. George reminisced fondly about his years at Mazenod and about the lifelong friendships he has forged.
It was so precious to witness the success of our former students whom I remember fondly as students in our College. Amongst our Old Boys who assisted us with catering on the night were the following:

Furthermore, we were blessed to be entertained on the evening by the sensational singing and musicianship of our Old Collegian, Brendan Scott (MOC1993) and the fabulously talented Ms Georgina Docherty. It was a glorious night!
Classes of 2019, 2020, 2021, 2022 and 2023 Reunions
We are calling all our Old Boys from the Classes of 2019, 2020, 2021, 2022 and 2023 to attend this year’s Mazenod College Reunion to be held on Friday, 2nd May 2025.
Our evening begins at 6.30pm.
It will be held at Olympia, Level 1, 12-18 Chester Street, Oakleigh, 3166. (Enter via 17 Portman Street).
$35- per person. Ticket Price includes food. Drinks at Bar Prices.

May the Blessings of the Risen Christ be with all the members of our Mazenod Old Collegians’ Association and their families!
As we soon embark upon the holiest week of the Christian Tradition’s year, we ask God to bless us all with His peace and love.
May Jesus’ unconditional love for us all in His suffering and dying on the Cross, and his glorious Resurrection envelop us all with His immense love, peace and joy!
