Students can’t wait to complete their homes and share their fantastic work with you. In the meantime, please enjoy a few snapshots of their progress so far!

Grade 4 Artists Create Stunning Radial Prints!

Grade 4 students have been diving deeper into the world of radial printmaking, exploring how patterns and symmetry combine to create striking designs!

Using their understanding of radial symmetry, where patterns expand evenly from a central point, students carefully planned, carved, and printed their unique designs. They also experimented with colour combinations and layering techniques, bringing their prints to life with creativity and precision.

Please enjoy some photos capturing the creative journey behind these stunning radial prints.

Students began by carefully drawing their radial designs onto printing foam, ensuring precision and attention to detail. They took their time to create intricate patterns, showcasing their understanding of symmetry and balance.

Here are some fantastic printing foam designs created by students in 4B!

Next, students rolled paint onto their foam designs and transferred their prints onto the colourful backgrounds they had prepared earlier. This exciting step brought their creations to life, revealing vibrant and eye-catching radial patterns!

Grade 6 Artists Explore Portrait Drawing with Carbon Paper!

The Grade 6 students have been exploring a unique way to create portraits using carbon paper and their school photos as references. This technique allowed them to transfer key details onto paper, helping them focus on proportions, shapes, and fine details in their drawings.

By carefully tracing over their images, students gained a better understanding of facial features building their confidence in portrait drawing.

Please enjoy some of the work completed by the students. 🎨✨
