Numeracy Explorations

Our recent water play setup has enabled children to test out their ideas as they explored angle, speed, and motion. We used corks and rubber bands to tie them together to make boats and washed them down the pipes with water. Changing the angle of the pipe changed the speed!

Puzzles supplied children with opportunities to practice their problem solving and persistence skills.

Invitation for Connection

Dear ELC Families,

Are you new to the ELC community or eager to meet some of your child’s friends? All families are invited to come along to a Saturday morning catch up to connect with other families.

Date: Saturday 3rd May

Location: Solandra Reserve, Modbury North

Time: 10am  

There is a toilet available and also a BMX track for those keen to bring bikes or scooters. There’s lot of grass space too for ball sports.

Please remember that your children remain under your care for the duration of our gathering.

Reminders

• Holiday bookings: Please check your bookings on Fully Booked for the holidays. We look forward to seeing you on the days you booked your child in, or your usual days if you didn’t make changes.
• Uniform: Please ensure your child is prepared for the new term with their navy pants (no jeans), jumpers, and white or navy socks and hair accessories, and a spare uniform set and underwear in their bag for changing into.
