2A | Luke T | For his fabulous engagement in our Dr. Seuss author study and creating wonderful innovations on poetry. Luke, your enthusiasm for writing is amazing to see and I look forward to reading your next creation! Well done. |
2B | Saoirse M | For being such a risk taker when trying to learn new concepts or skills. Saoirse has been exceptional in the way she has applied herself when learning about multiplication and poem writing this week. On top of this, Saoirse is always kind to her peers and a pleasure to work with each and every day. Go Saoirse! |
2C | Jack D | For showing a growth mindset in our Maths multiplication unit. It is great to see you demonstrate your in depth understanding of multiplication, but also being open to trying a different way of representing ‘groups of’. Keep it up, Jack! |

4A | Franki V | For planning, researching for, and drafting a high quality and very informative writing piece about Indigenous Australian Olympians. Research is a tricky skill, Franki, and you did an awesome job! Great work. |
4B | Millicent B | For crafting thoughtful and creative writing pieces. Millie, you demonstrate strong word choice with fluent and well thought out sentences. Well done. I always love reading your writing! |
4C | Jessie M | For the effort and persistence she has been displaying in maths. Jessie has been working hard on our time activities. She has been demonstrating her knowledge of reading quarter past and quarter to, as well as drawing on the clock hands. Keep up the great work Jessie! |

Student Newsletter acknowledgements
We LOVE to hear about student achievements outside of school. If there are any acknowledgements that parents/students wish to share with us and can be celebrated with our wider community, we ask that you email us at wembley.ps@education.vic.gov.au with the student/s name/s, a summary of the acknowledgement and any photos that you would be comfortable sharing and we will aim to include it in our fortnightly WPS newsletter.
