Landcare Hike

Outdoor Ed and Environmental Studies

Year 9 OES students and VCE Outdoor and Enviro Studies students spent the day volunteering at Bass Coast Landcare Network and hiking part of the George Bass Coastal Walk. Students learnt how to plant trees using a Hamilton Tree Planter and put over 150 in the ground at the River Garden. 

The weather was brilliant, and the students practiced their leadership skills while on the hike. We had a relaxing lunch at Half Moon Bay before heading back to the bus.
