Premier's Spirit of Anzac Prize
Congratulations to Year 9 student, Ben B for being selected as a recipient of the 2024 Premier's Spirit of Anzac Prize. This prize encourages students to explore the Anzac legacy post-World War I and its relevance in our diverse, multicultural twenty-first-century society. Ben created a digital war memorial on the Special Z Unit in the form of a website. He will soon depart on a fully funded trip to Turkey with other awardees. We are incredibly proud of Ben for this achievement.

Regional Science & Engineering Challenge
On Tuesday August 13th, our Year 9 and 10 students competed in the regional Science and Engineering Challenge at Deakin University. Facing tough competition from five other schools, including Warrnambool College, Brauer College, Good Shepherd College, Portland Secondary College, and Terang College, our students emerged victorious once again, achieving an incredible three-peat! Next up, they’ll be representing us at the state competition in Geelong. Congratulations to all involved, and best of luck in the next stage!

Senior Personal Development Afternoon
On the afternoon of August 7th, our Year 11's and 12’s had the privilege of running a peer lead Personal Development session for the Senior School. This was an incredible opportunity to discuss gender specific topics and spend some time together as a cohort with a panel, sports, food and games. A special thanks to our special guests and staff members for their help and for giving up their time for this. Very excited to do this again soon!
