What's happening in Wellbeing . . .
Resilience, Rights and Respectful Relationships
The Resilience, Rights and Respectful Relationships (RRRR) program continues to run throughout the year. This term work on unit 7 'Gender and Identity' will be coming to an end. Learning activities in this topic are designed to assist students to reflect on their gendered identity, develop an awareness of positive and negative gender norms, challenge negative gender norms and to develop an appreciation of difference.

MAT Program
Tuesday 17 September will be the last week of the MAT program. The students involved in this program have enjoyed the work that they have done and the relationships they have developed by working with each other. We would like to thank Erin from the School Focused Youth Service and Joe, from the MAT program, for supporting our school and our students in this space.
Below are some of the students' responses when asked what they thought of the program and what they learnt.
"It's a fun program, I learnt how to control my emotions better". - Ali
"It helped me to work with new people better." - Maci
"The MAT program is pretty fun. I learnt how to do things that I wasn't capable of doing, like push ups." - Nikolai
"I learnt new tricks, like the poses for our code." - Ivy
Each week when we begin our session, we start by remembering our code with the appropriate actions. The code is 'Be Strong, Be Calm, Be Kind, Try Hard.' The appropriate actions are below.
Peaceful Kids
The second round of the Peaceful Kids program has been just as successful as the first. All students on the program look forward to discussing their feelings and sharing some coping strategies with each other. They particularly loved making some brains and their own 'worry boxes'.
