Carlsruhe Coffee Blend Competition
This year we have been lucky enough to team up with Raf’s Coffee to create a unique coffee blend for our 2024 Carlsruhe Fair.
This will be available for pre-order, as well as purchases on the day.
As part of this, we are running a competition for students to design a label which will feature on the front of the packaging.
Prior to the school holidays your child/ren will bring home an entry form for them to design their label on.
This will need to be returned to school no later than October 8th, ready for judging by Mrs Ellis.
We are looking forward to seeing all the wonderful and creative designs!
Garden Stall
With the school holidays coming up, it is now time to start thinking about some fun activities to do with the kids. Why not keep them entertained by planting up some pots ready for our wonderful plant stall? Succulents and vegetables are some of our biggest sellers, so why not pop those seeds in the ground and get growing!
Mystery Jars
Our Mystery Jar Stall is always a hit, so why not tidy up the house and place all the nick-nacks you no longer use such as lego, buttons, crayons or wool in some jars. Remember, one man’s trash (unwanted nick-nacks) is another man’s treasure. These can be dropped to reception. Thanks to all our families who have already contributed to this.
Sponsorships:
Do you, or someone you know, own a small business and are interested in sponsoring a stall or making a financial donation to the fair? We have various sponsorship options available to fit any budget. It’s a fantastic way to support our school while also gaining exposure for your business! Please reach out for more details if you're interested.
Silent Auction Donations:
Our Silent Auction is one of the most successful aspects of our fair, thanks to the generous contributions from our wonderful Woodend school families and the broader community. If you own a business, create items at home, or provide a service that could be featured in our Silent Auction, we would love to hear from you. Donations can range from cheese platters and bottles of wine to accommodation vouchers and machinery services.
Every contribution is greatly appreciated and helps us raise essential funds for our school.
We have had some wonderful donations so far but are always on the lookout for more!
