MATERIALS TO DONATE

FOR ARTZONE ACTIVITIES

EVERY YEAR LEVEL CAN DO THEIR BIT!

At ART FOR ALL we pride ourselves on our sustainability goals, in line with FPS’s objectives.

To that end, we use many “up-cyclable” materials in the arts and crafts, and we’re looking for odds and ends that you may be able to donate.

So clear out your cupboards for things like balls of yarn and rubber bands – we prefer to avoid buying new where we can.

We’re asking for the following donations, with each year level being in charge of bringing one type of item.

Foundation - Rubber bands

This is for the tie-dye activity and other purposes, so rubber bands can be one size or different sizes.

Grade One – Onions

Please donate one onion for the sausage sizzle on Sunday. As this item is perishable, please drop off in the final week before ART FOR ALL.

Grade Two – Felt Squares

Ideally black and white, but we can use any colour. If you don’t have any in your arts and crafts box at home, they can be sourced from Dollar Shops, fabric stores like Spotlight or Lincraft and Officeworks.

Grade Three – Ball of Yarn

If you’re like us and you started a knitting project in 2015, it’s time to face facts and hand that yarn over to someone who can really use it.

Grade Four, Five and Six – Cans of Soft Drink

Any size, any flavour, for kids, for adults, a pack - we are happy with your preferred brand. FPS has an aluminium recycling scheme in place, so please do not donate juice boxes.

To drop off you items, just take them to the trestle table near the office in the lead up to the event.

Thanks in advance for your contribution!
