Our Students Triumph at the Alice Springs Show
Over the holidays, two of our students from the Certificate III in Agriculture VET in Schools program showcased their skills at the Alice Springs Show, which took place over two exciting days.
The competition featured three categories, starting with livestock parading, where students demonstrated their ability to present their animals effectively. We are thrilled to announce that Jamaya Hingston achieved a commendable second place in her category, while Siannah O’Sullivan secured third place.
The next category was Junior Judging, where participants evaluated a lineup of four bulls or heifers in front of the public and judges. Siannah O’Sullivan excelled in this category, earning first place. This impressive performance earned her a nomination to compete in the Katherine Show.
At the NT finals, Siannah continued to impress, ultimately securing second place in the Territory.
A big thank you to their trainer, Danielle, for her ongoing support and congratulations to both Jamaya and Siannah on their hard work and outstanding achievements.
