Finance Report | June and July Finance reports were accepted |
Principal’s Report | *School Wide Positive Behaviour Program (SWPBS). SWPBS -Thank you for ideas submitted for the school values. Tom Hederics has offered to help us refine the ideas and also to develop the graphics for our ‘expected behaviours’ matrix. -The SWPBS team is currently developing lessons for each of our expected behaviors
*Koorie Curriculum Cluster Project (Phase 2) 2025. -Three schools on Dja Dja Wurrung Country have been selected and twelve schools across Victoria will participate in phase 2 of this project. CRT (Casual Relief Teacher) funding is available to provide staff time to spend on activities for this project. Cosima Perley, Bridget Finch and myself (Carolyn) attended an introductory day on Friday 16/8. |
Curriculum Report | *Data Champions -Four staff have been attending Data Champions professional development in Melbourne for two days each term. We have developed a plan and processes to better use the data we collect and more efficiently use data to inform our teaching. *Professional Practice Day - Staff attended a professional practice day on Wednesday 21st August looking at our use of data and reviewing our assessment schedule. *NAPLAN - Our professional development has helped us look at NAPLAN data in detail. |

Parents and Friends | *Meetings Two meetings held in the last month. 1 to discuss the fundraiser and 1 to discuss the disco. *Fundraisers -Pie fundraiser raised over $1000, thank you to everyone who supported the fundraiser. -Beanies are available for sale from office. *Disco (Monday 2nd September) -Planning is in full swing. -5pm-6:00pm (grades F - 2), 6:15pm-7:45pm (grades 3-6) -Looking for donations of decorations so the SLC can set up the space. *Working Bees -dates yet to be set by the school *Membership -Our secretary (Sal Taberner) will be stepping down in December and we will need a new Secretary and some more families to step up if P&F is to continue |
General Business | *Sunsmart Policy -Two changes made to the template version and this was approved. *Buddy Bench -Being taken to SLC for their selection |
