Kids in Space Program

For a week or so now, this term, Year 6 have been completing the ‘Kids in Space’ program. In design tech we have spoken about the problems that being in space pose and the possible resolutions to those problems. For example, we would be given a problem and then asked to design a piece of technology that would help to prevent or solve our challenge. 

Some of these topics have been controversial such as the use of hairspray and other fumes that damage the Ozone Layer. These have created some good discussions!

All of the classes have been having a great time learning about space and are looking forward to the building component of our project!
