Fairy Tales and Meerkats

This week was all about the magic of reading! 

We have been preparing for Book Week with an exploration of different fairy tales and discussing the fact that there can be many different versions of the same fairy tale. The children have been thinking about their favourite characters, and even designed their own fairy tale characters for a story of their own creation. 

It has been amazing to see the children applying their reading skills and demonstrating all the hard work they have been doing to practise their reading at home. 

Thank you parents and carers for always supporting their love of reading. All the library visits, beautiful books and reading sessions are really paying off!
