Athletics Carnival – Parent Volunteers Needed!

Our annual Newlands Primary School Athletics Carnival is fast approaching and will be held on Friday 31 July (Week 3, Term 3) at the Coburg Harriers Athletic Club.

The day will be divided into two exciting sessions:

• Morning (Grades 3–6): Field events and track races.
• Afternoon (Prep–Grade 2): Fun games and running races.

To ensure the day runs smoothly, we are looking for parent volunteers to assist with a variety of roles, including supervising events, recording results and supporting students.

No previous experience is required. A short information session will be held one evening early next term to explain each volunteer role, answer any questions, and ensure everyone feels confident before the event.

We would love to have you on board! Whether you can help for the morning, the afternoon or the entire day, your time and support makes a huge difference. Parent involvement helps create a fun, safe and memorable experience for all our students.
